Are there yet 7000 who have not bowed the knee?

The vice presidential debate, 10/20/2008. The question was presented about agree/disagree with the concept of homosexual"civil unions?" Joe Biden answered, "Absolutely agree." And it is my understanding that indeed Joe Biden and Barack Obama would do all that they could to increase acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle and seek to dismantle and defeat the Defense of Marriage Act. (DOMA)
Then Sarah Palin answered the question, and basically agreed with Joe Biden. This was very disappointing. In a short fifteen years or so, we have gone from people persuing this abrent lifestyle "in the closet" to our most noted leaders supporting this wrong and personally and socially distructive lifestyle choice.
"But homosexuals are born that way." we often hear. Yes, to the degree that we are all born in sin. Satan is a confuser and a deceiver and the pursuit of such "anything goes" sexual mentality leads us into sex neutral bathrooms, cross-dressing and a host of activities and laws that make absolutely no "sense." Where did even "common sense" flee to in these days??? Anytime that we disobey God's commands it is sin. Thus sodomy is sin because it is against God's degree. It is harmful to children. It is harmful to society and will utimately bring judgement from God upon lives and upon America.
God is the Creator of all things. God made us male and female. God decreed that a marriage is between a man and a woman and a family is a married man, woman and their children. All other configurations are man's devisings and are doomed to failure.
Just to illustrate how far we have come, let me pose a sceniro. Suppose Sarah Palin, in answer to the question last night had responded as possitivly as Joe Biden, but said; "Absolutely I am not in favor of "civel unions." They are wrong and I will work to bring all of the power of the government to bare against the practice of such unions in our country." What do you think would have happened? You KNOW what would have happened -- and that illustrates where we have come from and where we are going in this "debate" about homosexuality. "Hate crimes" legislation is not far away from being on the books of the United States of America where a person can be fined and imprissioned for disagreeing with the "politically correct" norms of the day.
Are there yet 7,000 who have not bowed the knee to the god of sexual perversion?

Global Warming a farce.

Although
an ice chunk seven times larger than Manhattan
has collapsed in the Antarctic, one environmental expert is saying there's
nothing to be alarmed about.
Discovery News quotes scientists as saying the "runaway
disintegration" of the ice is the result of "global warming."
One of those researchers, British scientist David Vaughn, says while it is
natural that icebergs break away from the mainland, collapses like that recently
witnessed in the Antarctic are unusual -- but are happening more frequently in
recent decades.
Marc Morano is the resident authority on global warming with the U.S. Senate
Committee on Environment and Public Works minority staff. He says media coverage
of the ice collapse was both "shameful" and "embarrassing,"
and that one meteorologist correctly likened the situation to an icicle falling
off a snow-and-ice-covered roof.
Morano further states that the media is falsely attributing the ice collapse to
supposed "global warming."
"It is such a tiny fraction, and the media portrays this as though it's
global warming run amok and we're going to lose ice and we're going to have sea
level rise -- when in reality the whole
of Antarctica has cooled," says Morano.
"Ice extent is at record since satellite monitoring began in 1979."
There is "absolutely no cause for alarm," he continues. In fact, says
Morano, the Southern hemisphere has seen a cooling trend in the past few years,
and many scientists are actually calling for a period of global cooling. He
further states that many scientists are dissenting from the idea that the trace
gas CO2 is causing global warming.
