About Our Pastor’s Wife
- back to About Us
Jeanne Moffitt was raised in a Baptist pastor’s home and chose to attend Pillsbury Baptist Bible College of Owatonna, Minnesota, where she met Marcus Moffitt. Having completed three years of academic work at Pillsbury, Jeanne transferred to Mankato State College, where she completed her college work with a major in elementary education.
Jeanne did much to help the fledgling Christian school in Ordway, Colorado, become a reality. She has served numerous times during the years as teacher and substitute teacher in both public and Christian schools.
The Lord blessed Marcus and Jeanne with four sons and one daughter. When the family moved to Sheldon, Iowa, a decision was made to home school the youngest two children, which Jeanne did for the following eight years until both Andrew and Sarah graduated from high school.
Jeanne has been active in many ministries in the local church, including the music ministry, ladies Bible studies and personal in-home Bible studies.
She has a heart to obey Christ, a heart for the lost and missions, and a heart to disciple young ladies. She has written several sets of Sunday School lessons for Minnesota Baptist Association (MBA) and for Union Gospel Press, as well as numerous free lance articles and feature articles for papers and magazines. |
